Accessibility at Lala Sewz
We want everyone to be able to explore Lala’s work, learn to quilt, and shop with ease — no matter how they browse the web.

Look for the accessibility button in the bottom-left corner of any page. From there you can:
- Increase the text size (two larger steps)
- Increase contrast for easier reading
- Highlight links so they’re easy to spot
- Reduce motion to calm animations
Your choices are remembered on your device and stay on as you move around the site.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and improve this site — not a one-time checkbox.
How we build for access
- Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and landmarks
- Full keyboard navigation and a visible “skip to content” link
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
- Color and text contrast checked against AA targets
- Responsive layouts that work from phone to desktop
- Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting
Known limitations
Some experiences rely on third-party services we don’t fully control — for example embedded YouTube videos and the secure Shopify checkout. We choose reputable providers, but their accessibility may vary. If you hit a barrier in one of those, please tell us and we’ll help you complete what you were trying to do.
