This license applies to every digital product sold by Lala Sewz — including the Making Memories Huggable eBook and Lala’s downloadable sewing patterns (together, the “Materials”). By purchasing or downloading any of the Materials, you agree to these terms.

Ownership & copyright

The Materials — including all instructions, patterns, techniques, designs, illustrations, photographs, text, and the research behind them — are the original work and intellectual property of Lauryn “Lala” Martin (Lala Sewz) and are protected by copyright. They are the product of years of Lala’s own development and first use of this signature method. Lala Sewz reserves all rights not expressly granted below.

Your license

Your purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable license for personal and educational use only. You are warmly welcome to use the Materials to make quilts and items for yourself, your family, and as gifts, and to print a copy for your own use.

What this license does not allow

This license does not grant you the right to:

• Copy, share, resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, or forward the Materials, your download, or any part of them.
• Use the Materials — in whole or in part — to teach, instruct, coach, or train others, whether in person, online, in paid or free classes and workshops, or across any social-media or content platform.
• Build a business, brand, following, product, course, or paid offering around Lala’s methods, patterns, designs, or materials.
• Create derivative, instructional, or commercial works based on the Materials.
• Sell, or commercially produce, the finished items you make from the Materials (see “Finished items,” below).
• Present Lala’s methods, patterns, or research as your own.

Finished items

The quilts and items you make from the Materials are for your own personal use and to give as gifts — they are not for resale or any commercial purpose. Making or selling items from Lala’s methods or patterns requires Lala’s written permission.

Reservation of rights & enforcement

All rights in the Materials and in Lala’s signature method remain with Lala Sewz. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use — including using the Materials to teach or to grow a competing following or business — is a violation of copyright and of this license, and may be pursued to the fullest extent available under the law.

Licensing & permissions

Interested in teaching from Lala’s work, featuring it, or a commercial arrangement? Those uses require Lala’s written permission. Please get in touch — she’s happy to talk about approved collaborations.
